What’s the Difference Between an Artist URL, a User URL, and a Profile URL

In most cases these are all the same thing. The difference is what the URL looks like after you copy it. User and Profile are the same thing and look the same. Only the Artist URL looks different from the other one.

Artist URL

It doesn’t matter if you are the lead signer, the drummer, or the band itself – everyone in your band will have their own artist URL.

Here’s what the Artist URL looks like: https://open.spotify.com/ARTIST/{username or long string of random characters}

Real example of a Spotify Artist URL for the singer Eddie Vedder: https://open.spotify.com/ARTIST/0mXTJETA4XUa12MmmXxZJh

Real example of a Spotify Artist URL for the band Pearl Jam: https://open.spotify.com/ARTIST/1w5Kfo2jwwIPruYS2UWh56

User URL

As a regular user of Spotify you will only have a user URL, not an artist URL. Users can have followers just like artists.

Here’s what the User URL looks like: https://open.spotify.com/USER/{username or long string of random characters}

Here’s a real example of a user URL: https://open.spotify.com/USER/1219895292

Profile URL

The profile URL is just another name for either your artist or user URL. Follow the same steps to share it with others to order Spotify followers.
